Play therapy has been proven to show significant improvement in diverse areas of self-concept, self esteem, social skills and anxiety in children. It has also been shown to increase a child's confidence as well as their learning. The play therapist provides a safe and consistent environment and play space to be able to develop a trusting relationship with the child to promote growth and healing.

Behind The Name

The Play Therapy Corner was named with the intention of using the word ‘‘corner’’ to represent a safe and secure space for clients to feel comfortable.

PTC will always be in your corner and there to support you.

One for PTC and one for
your family to promote trust, care and
sharing. Turning one upside down to join them together, represents wholeness, unity and safety. Used in kitchen and water play.
